Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 hiện chưa công bố giá bán chính thức, mẫu xe này chắc chắn sẽ có mặt tại Việt Nam trong tương lai, điều này khiến khách hàng trong nước đang muốn mua dòng xe này có lý do để lưỡng lự.
Mẫu xe bán chạy nhất thế giới của Mercedes-Benz đã chính thức bước sang thế hệ mới, với thêm trang bị và chút thay đổi về thiết kế để tăng khả năng cạnh tranh trước Audi Q5 và BMW X3. Không có gì ngạc nhiên khi Mercedes-Benz hầu như giữ nguyên thiết kế ngoại thất của GLC nếu biết rằng đây đang là dòng xe bán chạy nhất của hãng.
Ở phía trước, GLC 2023 có lưới tản nhiệt lớn hơn, cụm đèn pha bớt tròn trịa và các hốc gió nhỏ hơn nhưng kiểu cách hơn trước. Thân xe dù không có thay đổi gì đột phá, nhưng trông thấp hơn, dài hơn và rộng hơn.
So với bản tiền nhiệm, Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 có chiều dài tổng thể nhỉnh hơn 60,96 mm, đạt 4.716 mm nhưng thấp hơn 4 mm, chiều dài cơ sở lớn hơn 15 mm, đạt 2.888 mm. Chiều rộng vẫn giữ nguyên ở mức 1.890 mm. Với việc gia tăng chiều dài xe giúp Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 có dung tích khoang hành lý tăng thêm 70,7 lít lên mức 620,1 lít.
Chiều dài và chiều rộng cơ sở tăng lên dẫn tới việc GLC 2023 có dung tích khoang chứa đồ phía sau tăng 70,7 lít lên tổng cộng 620,1 lít. Việc thay đổi kích thước, dù nhỏ, nhưng cũng giúp GLC 2023 có hệ số cản giảm từ 0.31 xuống còn 0.29.
Màn hình kiểu tablet cỡ lớn - 11,9 inch của hệ thống thông tin - giải trí cùng với màn hình 12,3 inch phía sau vô-lăng chính là trang bị nổi bật và quan trọng nhất bên trong xe GLC 2023. Trong khi đó, táp-lô và ta-pi cửa được thiết kế tinh tế, hiện đại. Vật liệu màu xám trải khắp táp-lô (khách mua xe có thể chọn các tông màu và họa tiết khác).
Mercedes tiếp tục áp dụng triết lý thiết kế "nổi", với các nút điều khiển ghế và màn hình tạo cảm giác hòa vào phần ốp xung quanh.
Không gian bên trong xe nhìn chung vẫn như trước. Thay đổi quan trọng nhất có lẽ là không gian trên đầu ghế trước tăng 15mm, giúp người cao ngồi thoải mái.
Công nghệ mới chính là điểm nhấn của GLC 2023. Cả hai màn hình cỡ lớn nói trên đều là trang bị tiêu chuẩn và là sự nâng cấp lớn so với xe đời cũ. Ngoài ra, tất cả xe GLC 2023 còn được trang bị tiêu chuẩn ghế có sưởi, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, sạc không dây và tính năng quét vân tay để lưu cài đặt của tài xế.
Không dừng lại ở đó, màn hình HUD màu sử dụng công nghệ được gọi là "ca-pô xuyên thấu", vì nó hiển thị trực quan thông tin bên dưới đầu xe. Tính năng này sẽ phát huy tác dụng tốt nhất khi xe chạy off-road. Tất nhiên, khách cần phải lắp camera 360 thì GLC 2023 mới có "ca-pô xuyên thấu".
Tất cả xe GLC không phải bản AMG sẽ vẫn dùng động cơ 4 xy-lanh 2.0L kết hợp hệ thống mild-hybrid 48V, cho công suất 258 mã lực và mô-men xoắn 295 lb-ft.
Phiên bản tiêu chuẩn GLC 300 được trang bị hệ dẫn động cầu sau, còn GLC 300 4MATIC dùng hệ dẫn động 4 bánh toàn thời gian AWD. Cả hai dùng hộp số tự động 9 cấp và có khả năng tăng tốc lên 96 km/h trong 6,2 giây. Mercedes cho biết GLC được giới hạn tốc độ ở mốc 209 km/h.
Giống như các xe khác của Mercedes, GLC 2023 có nhiều gói trang bị an toàn cho khách hàng lựa chọn theo nhu cầu. Mercedes cho biết đã thay đổi logic "đóng gói" trang bị an toàn theo hướng hợp lý và thực tế hơn. Ví dụ, gói hỗ trợ đỗ xe mới giờ đây có cả tính năng hỗ trợ đỗ xe chủ động và hệ thống camera 360. Gói Hỗ trợ lái gồm các tính năng an toàn quan trọng như kiểm soát hành trình thích ứng, hỗ trợ đánh lái chủ động, và hỗ trợ quan sát biển báo giao thông.
